3,400 Births for CBS Midwifery!

On August 18th, CBS Midwifery delivered our 3,400th baby, Jackson Scott Harrison. Jackson’s parents, Scott and Viktoria Harrison, founded the NYC-based nonprofit charity: water, which raises awareness and money to help people living in developing nations get access to clean drinking water. Currently, 800 million people worldwide don’t have clean water to drink, and in the last 7 years, charity: water has raised more than $140 million, and funded over 11,000 water projects that will help 4.4 million people. To celebrate Jackson’s birth, Scott and Viktoria setup a fundraising campaign where friends and family could donate in his honor. To date, Jackson has raised more than $171,000 which will help 4,800 people get clean water.
